St. Helena Rotary for 23 years. Hooray, Alston!Welcome to new member, Steve Ebersole, who was inducted by Alston. Steve is in Building Construction, he has been in St. Helena since 1990, and he has

dictionaries dispersed to all third graders. Linda's daughter, Anne Koscilak, is our new Interact outgoing exchange student. She will be going to Brazil in September, and she appears to be thrilled about the prospect of her new venture.
Andy noted that the Interact Club sold $450 worth of granola last week!

Mark Terrell reported that Bob Lamborn had an MRI and it appears that he is in remission. However, he does
have some sort of infection that is still going on.Craig Anderson was out today due to more testing regarding his donation of his own kidney to help his daughter. It's been a huge

noted that there are many Rotarians who have yet to pay the $125 required for the International Rotary Foundation. She also noted that the Paul Harris fellow will be bestowed on six Rotarians.
Jerry McQuiddy was excited to tell us that the St. Helena Star
issue this week will include a Napa Valley Rotarian publication (Show Rotary) celebrating the 100th anniversary of Rotary in Napa Valley. It is comprehensive, and has been organized by a
group of 12 to 15 members from the five Napa Valley Rotary groups that met every other month. Tony Albright and Steve Yost spearheaded our effort.FINE MASTER: Miles Metzger - We all know that Miles doesn't ask much, but last week he did ask that the Rotarians come to his showroom and view the bust of Don Heydlauff,
and because not too many showed, he fined everyone! A table-group exemption might have been received had anyone been able to solve his stick puzzle, however, we all proved to
be dunces, and all will have to pay the fine.RAFFLE: The raffle-drawing winner was Norm Mitroff, just back from a few weeks in Switzerland, but. he did not draw the
lucky black marble. BELL RINGERS: Last week, Rob Andreae bought a house, bought a car, moved his office, and his 16-year old got a job.
PROGRAM: LEADERSHIP NAPA VALLEY (LNV) John Vowell and Tony Albright presented slides describing Leadership Napa Valley, an organization promoting leadership,
education, networking and community participation. John participated last year, and this year Susan Vowell and Tony Albright are attending.

The group of 28 meets 1 day/month for 9 months. They learn about the community through coordinated exercises in outdoor
work, class work and (wonderful) catered lunches. The tourism, agricultural, justice, business and other industries are explored and volunteer opportunities are abundant. Cost is $750, some
scholarships are available. Applications are due in by April 30th, the application for a St. Helena Chamber scholarship is due in by April 15th. The interview process is somewhat "nerve-wracking", right Tony?
