Wow, what a great party!! I believe there were over 100 Rotary members and guests at the Grace Episcopal Church for Phil Toohey's "debunking", a huge tribute to a wonderful, enthusiastic, very effective president. Thanks to Kathleen Patterson who organized the event…she found this perfect Tibetan attire to wrap Phil into, along with a magnificent headpiece. Phil was all yellow and orange and pink, and beautiful! Denise thought so too, she gazed at him so admiringly.

The theme was Tibet, and wheelchairs, and high fives. Kathleen along with many others grouped at Phil's office at 6:00 pm, dressed him up, placed him in a wheelchair, and walked him around town with people carrying "high five" placards listing the year's accomplishments. Then over to the Episcopal Church's new building, and cocktail hour. So many people!

Dinner was prepared by our wonderful chef Mike of Silverado Brewery. Wonderful steak, au gratin potatoes, fresh veggies, etc.

The "DEBUNKING!" Phil was unusually quiet. Jim Wright, Head Roastmaster and his crew of Andy Bartlett, Frank Toller, Paul Krsek, and Father Mac, fondly remembered many "Philisms" that marked his year as President.
